MOEA & NSC JOINTLY PROMOTE AND SUBSIDY THE "PROACTIVE TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY-ACADEMY COOPERATION PLAN"


In order to boost the cooperation of the research institutions and the enterprises, the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and the National Science Council (NSC) jointly promote and subsidy the "Proactive Technology Industry-Academy Cooperation Plan". FROM INNOVATION TO ENTREPRENEURSHIP-"FROM IP TO IPO"IS ON THE ROAD

In order to enforce the innovation economics and technology transformation strategy, the Nation Science Council starts the "From IP To IPO, FITI" this year. This is the first time that the Taiwan Government tries to gather the key industries, international investors, and government resources to create more entrepreneurship chances in Taiwan. Due to the convergence mechanism between innovation and enterprise lacks of integrity, the National Science Council hopes through the FITI to mitigate the gap between them.....[more]

EXECUTIVE YUAN APPROVES NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN (2013-2016), BOOSTS ECONOMY BY TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS

In order to seize the moments when the international economics revive, and to response to the challenges posted by domestic transitional reforms of economical as well as social structures, the Executive Yuan approves the Four-Year National Development Plan (2013-2016) and the Plan for National Development in 2013, effective from January 1st, 2013, with the goal of achieving "Golden Decade, National Visions". It further specifies the national development visions, goals and policy measures, accelerating the adjustment of systems and loosening up relevant laws and regulations by innovations, opening-up and modifying related structures, to elevate the economic growth potentials of Taiwan....[more]

COUNCIL FOR ECONOMIC PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT (CEPD) DRAWS UP THE ACTION PROGRAMS FOR "ECONOMIC POWER-UP PLAN"

In response to external challenges, the Executive Yuan approved the "Economic Power-Up Plan" in September, 2012. The Plan primarily focuses on "Institutional Adjustment" and "Deregulation." There are 5 major initiatives and 25 projects underneath. On November 23th, 2012, after the cabinet political affairs meeting, ex-Premier Sean Chen made following instructions: accelerating deregulation and investment by overseas Taiwanese businesses, spurring investments in public construction, and incentivize sustainable growth for Taiwan's financial sector and tourism....[more]
