Lin Kuan-Yu currently serves as the Section Manager, primarily overseeing projects for the Department of Industrial Technology under the Ministry of Economic Affairs in areas such as academia-technology legislation, legislative issues in emerging biomedical technology fields, personal data protection law, and health data legislation. He also leads the promotion of the 'Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Cross-border Privacy Rules' and the operation of the verification services for the 'Taiwan Personal Data Protection and Management System'. His specialties include technology legislation, administrative law, and personal data protection law.
