Augustine Chu currently serves as an Advanced Legal Researcher, primarily responsible for promoting and implementing projects related to (1) the transfer of critical foreign technologies and (2) international privacy regulations. Augustine is a registered attorney in the State of New York and admitted to the Bar Association thereof. He has previously worked as a foreign legal counsel at an international law firm, specializing in legal services such as cross-border mergers and acquisitions, international transactions, capital markets, and dispute resolution. He also has experience working in a pharmaceutical company as an in-house legal counsel, where he gained substantial practical experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
