About Staff
Dr. Chin-Li Wang currently serves as the Vice President and Director General of the Science & Technology Law Institute, Institute for Information Industry. Before Dr. Wang takes this position, he was the Associate Professor of Graduate Institute of Science and Technology Law and Associate Dean of the School of Management and Chairman of the International Master of Management Degree Program, National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology. His research field is broadly interdisciplinary, touching on both Information Communication Technology and Laws. His research interests focus on E-Commerce, Cyber laws and regulations.
Dr. Wang has been engaged in legal education and academic research for a long time. In addition to serving as a supervisor of several interdisciplinary academic societies, he has also been invited as a committee member in local and central government to consult legal affairs, and has contributed his expertise and knowledge to social services. Dr. Wang also actively cooperated with the public and private sectors. Conducting industry-university cooperation projects, having both experience in industrial legal policy research and analysis, and with such rich experience in industrial legal and development policies consulting. Hopefully, with his experience in practice and academia, Dr. Wang can lead Science & Technology Law Institute to create more achievements!
