She specializes in Personal Information Management System (PIMS), privacy laws, etc. Main research areas include Cybersecurity Law and Policy, Domestic & Global Data Protection, Privacy Compliance and relating international standards. Liu, Pei-ling also supports companies, enterprises, undertakings and other organizations to build up, develop and maintain PIMS, by means of enhancing their legal compliance, risk assessment, security and maintenance measures. She is implementing Information Security Management System (ISMS) as well.
