Kuan-Yu Lin currently serves as a section manager in Science & Technology Law Institute (STLI). He is in charge of the management and the operation of Taiwan Personal Information Protection and Administration System (TPIPAS). Along with the governmental authorities, he devotes himself to promoting personal information protection in Taiwan.
With the past experience working on Technology Development Program (TDP) sponsored by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Kuan-Yu continues his professional enthusiasm and provides related legal opinions to Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, and Environmental Protection Administration.
Before joining STLI, Kuan-Yu had diverse working experiences. Serving as a law clerk at Song Jiang International Trademark & Patent Office, he gained practical experiences filing trademark applications and drafting the complaint for several famous companies, including but not limited to, SF Express, Beijing Tongrentang, ETUOH, and Top Pot Bakery. Prior to that, he was a high school history teacher.
