About Staff
Ms. Ying-Hsi Chiu is currently seconded to the National Development Council as Advisor of Regulatory Reform Center dealing with legal policies and issues related to personal data protection. In STLI, she serves as Senior Research Director and is mainly responsible for planning, developing and promotion research projects and new emerging legal and policy issues related to digital economy, including digital competition, cultural technology, smart country, cloud computing, digital governance and so on. Her major research fields are e-commerce law, personal data protection law and management systems, information law, internet law, competition law and intellectual property law.
During the period that Ms. Ying-Hsi Chiu work at STLI, she has served as the Senior Manager, Director, Section Manager, Project Manager and Legal Researcher.
